At gains.exe, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

  • Create an account using Apple Sign-In or other authentication methods
  • Complete your profile during onboarding (name, birthdate, gender, fitness goals)
  • Use the app to generate and track workouts
  • Provide custom instructions to personalize your AI trainer
  • Contact customer support

We may also automatically collect certain technical data, such as device type, operating system version, and app usage statistics to improve our service.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Generate personalized AI-powered workout plans based on your goals and fitness level
  • Track your workout history and progress
  • Improve and personalize your experience with the app
  • Process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • Send you important app updates and support messages

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. However, we may share your data with:

  • AI Service Providers: We use third-party AI language models to generate your personalized workout and schedule plans. Your fitness profile data (goals, fitness level, workout preferences, and custom instructions) is sent to these AI services to create tailored recommendations. We do not share your name, email, or account identifiers with AI providers. Current providers include OpenAI; providers may change over time.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: We use Firebase (Google Cloud) to securely store your account and workout data.
  • Authentication Providers: When you sign in with Apple, we receive limited profile information as authorized by you.
  • Legal Compliance: When required by law or to protect our rights and users.
  • Business Transfers: In case of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Data Retention

We retain your data for the following specific periods:

  • Account and Workout Data: Your profile, workout history, schedules, and preferences are retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, this data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • Technical Data: Device information and usage statistics are retained for up to 14 months, then automatically deleted.
  • Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we retain those communications for up to 2 years, then delete them.
  • Legal Retention: We may retain minimal data (such as records of deletion requests) for up to 3 years when required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Third-Party Data: Subscription and transaction records held by Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat are subject to those companies' retention policies. We do not control that data, but you can contact those providers directly to request deletion.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission and secure cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account credentials.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, update, or delete your personal information

  • Consent: Processing for AI-powered workout generation, push notifications, and marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
  • Legitimate Interests: Processing for analytics, security monitoring, and service improvement. You may object to this processing by contacting us.
  • Legal Obligations: Processing required for fraud prevention, tax compliance, and responding to legal requests. This processing cannot be revoked.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account and personal data at any time using either of these methods:

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Open the gains.exe app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap “Delete Account”
  4. Confirm your decision

Option 2: Email Request

Email post@gainsgpt.app with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

  • Immediately deleted: Your profile, workout history, schedules, preferences, and custom instructions are permanently removed from our servers.
  • Deleted within 30 days: Any backup copies of your data are purged from our systems.
  • Retained for up to 3 years: Minimal records (such as a log that a deletion request was fulfilled) may be kept for legal and fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Not controlled by us: Subscription and purchase history held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat must be requested directly from those providers.

Children's Privacy

gains.exe is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at post@gainsgpt.app so we can promptly remove the information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notifications or by updating the app. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
